Same Bell Creek Medical Park, Bigger Space: VCS Opens Expanded Mechanicsville Facility

Virginia Cardiovascular Specialists (VCS), Central Virginia’s largest independent cardiovascular practice, has opened its new, expanded clinic at Bell Creek Medical Park in Mechanicsville. Located at 7515 Right Flank Road, the new facility is at the front of the same medical park, just down the road from VCS’s previous location. The expansion adds approximately 12,000 square feet of space and brings cardiac PET imaging to the Bell Creek location for the first time. The new facility will also continue to offer nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, vascular services, and lab services.
Among the expanded services at the new facility is cardiac PET imaging, an advanced diagnostic tool that provides detailed images of blood flow to the heart to help physicians evaluate coronary artery disease. VCS is the only cardiology practice in Hanover County to offer cardiac PET imaging, giving area patients access to this advanced technology closer to home.
“After more than 15 years at our previous Bell Creek location, this move is about more than a bigger building. It’s about being able to do more for our patients and for this community,” said Brigette Terrell, Executive Director of VCS. “We designed this space to make care more efficient, more accessible, and more comfortable for every patient who comes through our doors.”

With easy access, ample parking, and greater visibility at the front of Bell Creek Medical Park, the new facility is designed to serve the growing cardiovascular needs of patients across Hanover County and eastern Central Virginia. Eight VCS physicians will practice at the location, where every new patient sees a board-certified cardiologist first. New patient appointments are typically available within one business day, with urgent patients seen the same day or the next business day.
With 39 cardiologists across 9 locations and nearly 50 years of service to the region, VCS remains committed to delivering trusted heart care close to home.
