New VCS Patient Portal: InteliChart

Virginia Cardiovascular Specialists is launching a new patient portal, InteliChart, to make it easier for patients to communicate with their care team and manage heart care online.

Why VCS Is Introducing a New Patient Portal

Our new patient portal provides:

  • A more intuitive, user-friendly experience
  • Secure messaging reduces phone tag
  • Easier prescription refill requests
  • Faster access to health information and pre-visit forms

This update helps improve communication, reduce phone wait times, and support more efficient care.

What Patients Need to Know

  • The current PxP patient portal will be Read-Only from January 20 to January 25 for a transition period. During this short transition, please call your VCS office if you need to reach your care team or request a refill.
  • Monday, January 26: The new patient portal, InteliChart, goes live! If you need access to the old portal after January 26, click here. It will be read-only until June 2026.
  • Patients will need to register for the new portal, even if they used our previous portal.
  • Patients with a scheduled appointment with VCS will receive an email invitation from no-reply@patientportal.net to register.
  • Medical records are not lost during the transition period from January 20 to 25.

What will my username be?

Your username will be the email address we have on file for you.

Will my old messages transfer to InteliChart?

Your old messages will remain part of your medical record, but will not appear in the new portal.

What if I can’t log in or didn’t receive an email invitation?

Please call your VCS office to ask a team member to resend your registration link.

Will I have access the old patient portal?

You can access the old portal here. Please note that from January 20 until June 2026, the old portal will be READ-ONLY. Your old messages will remain part of your medical record in the new portal, but patients will not be able to see them.
